Ava and Parker had a birthday party the other weekend. So Daniel and I decided to take Colson out for some fun time. My sister in law amazingly agreed to take Sawyer for a few hours so we could have some time with just him, It was super fun. We went to Colson's favorite restaurant, Red Robin, for dinner. I swear, that kid LOVES Red Robin. We let him do the toy machines in the lobby too. We never let them do that because they all cry if they don't get what they want.
Then we went Go-Kart racing at the RUSH funplex here in Syracuse. Colson is too short to drive himself so he got to ride with me.
It had been years since I had been in a Go-Kart. It's a little more difficult to get in one after you've had 4 kids.
Daniel apparently had no problem whatsoever.
Afterwards, we went black light, mini-golfing. Colson was a little unsure about it. He really didn't like it, so we skipped several holes to speed the process along. Afterwards we went home and got the kids. Overall, it was a lovely evening with our Mr. C.
