This is the first year we've been to Syracuse days. They have a parade, a big carnival and fireworks. The whole city shuts down for this. Even the dental office I work at closed for the day.
We staked out a good spot in front of my office, and had a great view of the parade.
We got frisbees, tons of candy, popsicles and everything.
Madbrooks handed out free donuts too! We loved it!
We decided to go to the splash pad afterwards because it was so dang hot that day.
Layton has the best splash pad around. The slide is a favorite and a giant bucket that slowly fills with water and then dumps all over. The kids love standing under it and waiting in anticipation for it to dump on them.
Even Daniel got in on the action with the kids. Sawyer, wasn't so sure about it. He got freaked out every time the bucket dumped.

We loved the Layton splash pad when we lived there! It is so fun!
