Happy Birthday Ava!!

Yesterday was Ava's 3rd birthday!! I can't believe she's 3 years old. Time flies when you're having fun!

I was going to have a big party with her friends, but decided I was too tired and have been too sick for too long to feel like giving a party. So we decided to just have a fun day with the family.

So the day started out with swim lessons. Ava loves swim lessons, but it had been a while so she was a little shy. But warmed up pretty quick. Parker wasn't quite sure either, but after a few minutes he warmed up too.



Then after Ava got cleaned up she and I headed to a store called Wild @ Art. It's a really fun store where you pick out a ceramic piece then glaze it and they will fire it for you. I forgot to take a picture of her glazing but she picked out a butterfly to paint and they gave her a tile to glaze too. Outside of the store there is this indoor playground that Ava loves so she played around for a little while.


At home we had spaghetti for dinner then opened presents. She loved her Tinkerbell backpack and really loves A Bug's Life. She's looking forward to using her bubbles and sidewalk chalk when we go outside.

After dinner, we went bowling with Ava's friends Ayla and Marleigh (our friends Leigh and Michelle too). Ava really loves bowling and had a good time. She really loved her Care Bear cake.

All in all, it was a great day. We all had a good time, even Parker who spent most of the night on Dad's shoulders. It was really fun. Happy Birthday Ava!! We love you!!
