Now that Daniel has graduated and we have to be real grown ups, it was time to say good bye to the Palouse and move on to the next chapter in our lives.
We spent a few days doing things we love. We had a favorite day where we visited all our favorite places in Pullman. We went to Reany park for dinner, visited the grizzly bears and ate our favorite food.
A few days later we went to Kamiak Butte with our cousins for one last picnic. It was fun.
Ava and Ian on the picnic blanket. We are going to miss our cousins a lot. It was so fun having them live nearby.
Daddy got home from Utah just in time to come. He was pretty tired and so was Sawyer.
Mommy was pretty tired too after having the 4 kids all by herself for 3 days.
I'm really going to miss the rolling hills of the Palouse. I was a little afraid I'd feel claustrophobic in Utah having the mountains so close. The Palouse really is a beautiful place, green in the spring and amber in the fall. We feel so lucky to have lived there. We were so blessed while living in Pullman. We made so many life-long friends there. We're really going to miss them all.
