Happy 4th of July!!

Happy 4th of July!!  We spent the day having fun family!

First we attended the West Point parade.  The kids loved waiting for them to throw the candy.

 

 

Sawyer slept during his first 4th of July parade.

Then we hit West Point's party in the park.  They had bouncy houses, face painting, rock wall climbing and bingo.  There was food and music and all kinds of craft booths.

Sawyer also slept through bingo.

 

Parker got his face painted to look like Batman.

 

 

Then we went home for a bbq with Uncle Peter and fireworks with the neighbors.  Colson wasn't too impressed with the fireworks.  He spent the evening with his hands over his ears attached to either Daniel or me.  We pulled out the fire pit and roasted smores and had a great time.

 

We have some pretty amazing neighbors.  They probably spent an entire months paycheck of fireworks.  They had it set to music and everything.  It was amazing!!

 

 

 

The kids loved it.  After the firework show, we put Colson to bed.  (he asked to go to sleep)  It was still pretty hot outside, at least 80.  So we turned on the sprinkler and jumped on the trampoline.  The kids are still talking about it.  They kept talking about how we jumped on the tramp at night with the sprinklers. 

Over all, we had a lovely day!
