For playgroup last week, my friend organized a trip to the fire station. The kids loved it! At first it took Parker a while to warm up, but as soon as he saw the fire trucks, he was won over.
When the fireman put on his mask though, Parker immediately started backing away towards me. It was kind of funny actually.
There were so many kids there. There was at least 20 kids, plus their parents, so it was a bit crowded. Ava loved sitting in the fire truck seats. Here she is with her friend Cody.
The fire hat was so big, she couldn't really keep it on without holding it.

Parker wasn't too sure about going in, but once he was up there, we had a hard time getting him out.
The fireman pulled out some of the tools they use and Parker tried to pick one up. It was so heavy it pulled him right to the ground. It was kind of funny. Overall, we had a great time. The kids loved it and had a great time!
